I'm trying to find somemore info on blacklight reactive ink. I'v heared the horror stories of the old white ink going to brown after a few years.. ect... I was hoping someone could fill me in on how well the newer inks work. Someone refered me to a Co. outta Cali. that had some good looking ink but my comp. crashed and I lost there site. Could someone help me out?

The ink that I have in my arm is supposed to be really safe. The guy that I got it from, Conan Lea, is very trustworthy. Here is how it looks if interested:

and his website is www.conanlea.com if you want to aske him
i was kinda edgy about the ink at first but after getting it I havent had any fading what so ever. Its pretty awesom Ive had it about a year now and still get compliments on how bright it is when I go to clubs and people see it under the blacklights...they are in awe that I have a tattoo that actually glows under the blacklight.
i personaly wouldnt recomend it. im not sure whats out right now but the sample we got took a while to heal and faded almost completly soon after. we did a small area on my arm "red" and a lager area on a friends leg and neither heald well. i wont use it on anyone
well I am from a small hick town in Michigan and I got a blacklight tattoo, two of them actually got one on the inside of my lower lip and one on the inside of my wrist. I love them they are a great alternative to a black or colored tat because you cant see it at all in regular light. Mine healed fine, not any longer then my first two colored tats and looks just as good as when I first got it. I had to get the one in my mouth toughed up but that is only because it was in my mouth and healed a little too well but it is bright and looks good now. I love them and strongly urge people to get them it is a great alternative to plain black. and you can get them anywhere and not have to worry about looking unperfessional or having your parents find out.My artist also adds blacklight sensitive inks to existing tats and has all kinds of crazy colors. His website is www.inkspirationsinc.com
I have been using it for years with no problems at all. Although you must have good ink from a reputable dealer and make sure it comes with a m.s.d.s. sheet to show the safety concerns. some of the artwork is displayed on out webpage etattoo.org

this ink is actually FDA approved I have both my hands done in the white one hand is almost invisable the other (done in dec 04) has some brownish scarring than is being reduced by time and vit. c oil rubs but glows like a sona bitxh in black light and flippin rocks I love it I plan a lot more although my tattooist thinks it's a pain in the ass to tattoo in. :)
I had a recent piece done with the white Chameleon ink; I have some pictures, and lots of info and comments available in my journal here:
