Has anyone ever sterilized a bottle of ink before. I got a bottle of intenze black liner in the mail the other day and the seal was gone on it. I don't wanna use it on anyone unless I know its safe so I was wondering if anyone knows a way to clave it without making a mess or fuckin it all up.
Tks, mike

Im not sure. Ive never heard of anyone sterilizing ink. This is what I would think from common sense: your not so much worried about whats on the outside of the bottle, but the ink on the inside. its pointless to sterilize the bottle but not the ink inside, thats what, to me, would be the most important. you cant put the ink in the clave water and then take it back out. im interested in this one, if anyone knows, i would also like to know.
It seems to stand to reason that if the ink was exposed to the temperature and pressure by leaving the cap off, it would sterilize. but who knows?? Anyone know the manufactures procedure for sterilizing ink during production??
why risk it man send it back to the supplier and tell them the situation and get a new bottle. i'm sure they'd refund it. and thats the only real way to ensure safety. at least thats what i'd do
True, tell the supplier, not that the supplier will exchange it, but if you/ he paid for insurance may be able to claim it. It sounds that it could have been a "transit" issue.
Don't you dare to sterilize the ink in the clave. One time i accidentally contaminated my squirt bottle and put it in the clave, what I got after the cycle was a chewing gum looking thing all melted at the bottom of the clave.
