Ok this may be a really dumb question, but I never really thought about it till now. My company is going to play paintball as a team building thing. I am already committed to going, which is totally cool because I want to play. I have played a few times before and we all know how those things really leave a mark. I never thought about it but could this thing damage my tatts??? I mean they do leave some pretty good surface welts. I know that ink is deep, but could it do any longterm damage. Sorry for the dumb question. N

Anybody???
No problems
As long as they're not fresh, you're sweet to play ball.
Nice I really didn't know the answer to that question. I always wondered what would happen if I feel skating or something and got a sick scrape or something would it just kill my tatts? This was kind of alone that line.
A nasty scrape or cut would probably be a different story and could damage the tattoo I'm guessing. A bruise from a paintball isn't quite the same thing.
Yeah those paintballs leave a bad welt though. They break skin and everything,
as long as the paintballs aren't close range with direct skin contact you should be fine, but yes paintballs fired within a close range do have the potentail of broke breaking skin or creating blood blisters, these can leave pretty burly scars which would affect your tattoos, chances are if your at a field you'll be wearing proper coverage so don't sweat it.
you should not have a problem at all, I got shot in my first one two days after I got it and had no damage.
I have been playing since 1989 and competing nationally since the early 90s and have been hit in the tats many many times
